This Heart Never Stops LovingIt was an unusually quiet day at the Vegas crime lab; the majority of the CSIs were in the break room, discussing last nights game.
Grissom was sitting in his office going through the remaining paper work from the previous case hoping to clear it before the next case comes through.
Nick was sitting on the bench in the locker room with an envelope in one hand, he tore it open to reveal a small piece of paper:

You're all I wantedHere she was, sitting in Nick's house talking about her love life, it's not as if anyone knew her true feelings, the fact they don't lie with Grissom but with someone closer to her, her friend for many years, but that was all they were friends, and nothing more.

and yet I laughed
ignoring my dry mouth
and the tingling in my feet.
There was a tempest
on the rise
and in my blood.
A sugar rush disguised
as a riot of butterflies
and they were swarming me.
There was a small vial
of insulin in my pocket
that I nev
